PRE-DEATH PLANNING
“Focus on my rise, not my demise”
I love this saying and I think that it perfectly summarises what pre-death planning is for. Pre-death planning is a service used by, most often but not always, people who are suffering from a terminal illness or life limiting disease and who wish to plan their funeral ceremony before their death. Many people choose to plan their funeral to feel a sense of involvement and control over their death. It is a fantastic way to help alleviate some of the stress on their families and loved ones at a time when they need it most. It’s also the perfect way to ensure you get the send-off you truly wish for and can bring great comfort to people in a time of such uncertainty!
As a funeral celebrant, I will help you to craft a unique ceremony that is full of life, just as you are when we are writing it. These ceremonies have a uniquely different tone to those crafted after someone’s death, usually a lighter and more humorous tone. Often people think of these pre-planned ceremonies as a final gift to their loved ones, something to help them look past the details of your demise and instead remember you only on your rise.
As with all my ceremonies, your family will be presented with a beautifully bound copy of the ceremony as a keepsake following the ceremony.
